"Jeffrery Hapeman photographed these auroras -- and an early Perseid meteor -- over Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, on July 29th. 'To the naked eye, the lights were dull greenish-white, but the camera revealed their colors. This is a 30-second exposure.'"
