Oh, yes. The celebration for Buddha's birthday in Seoul. There is a large parade every year: different congregations and social organizations walk along one route with paper lanters, while a long line of amazing, internally lit papercraft floats go down the wide avenue near Jogyesa Temple.

Mmm... no. When I arrived in Seattle in August, it was almost funny/a little odd how I was just jumping on buses or strolling around the same streets that I hadn't been on in a year.

I still haven't put that whole trip into a written perspective.
