You know, I might post little elsebut flowers for the rest of the month.

It's certainly better than cutting them.

Really, though, after all of the work and care,
it's nice to be able to watch these plants
grow, bloom and produce seeds.

So many things to be discovered by observing these plants
(an activity made more intriguing as I finished reading
Intelligence in Nature while the flowers began to appear).
